On November 13, the 2025 Sichuan Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Chain Ecosystem Conference, themed “A New Blue Ocean in Low Altitude: Wings Together Toward the Future,” kicked off at the Zigong Aviation Industry Park. Hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Chain Leading Office (under the Provincial Development and Reform Commission) and organized by the Zigong Municipal People’s Government, the event brought together nearly 300 renowned enterprises from across the province and beyond, more than a dozen investment and financing institutions, over thirty universities and research institutes, as well as representatives from governments of cities and prefectures throughout the province, to jointly explore new pathways and opportunities for the development of the low-altitude economy. The conference featured both dynamic demonstrations and static exhibitions; Weihang Technology was invited to participate, with its ducted-fan, high‑altitude tethered, main‑battle firefighting drone “Aoqin” delivering a standout performance on site and drawing enthusiastic responses.
During the highly anticipated dynamic demonstration, multiple “Chuan‑brand” drones took to the stage in a coordinated display. The star of the show, the “Aoqin,” made its grand finale appearance, launching from the roof of a vehicle and ascending to an altitude of 80 meters. It then executed a high‑altitude water‑jetting demonstration, maintaining a steady flow of approximately 20 liters per second, thereby showcasing its exceptional tethered hovering capability and stable jetting performance. Its powerful propulsion system and reliable operational performance fully underscore Weihang Technology’s robust expertise in firefighting and emergency response scenarios for high‑rise buildings, highlighting its practical value in real‑world applications.
At the exhibition’s static display area, the “Aoqin” UAV drew significant attention with its distinctive design and professional-grade configuration.
