Li Ye
Founder and CEO
A graduate of the School of Vehicle and Transportation at Tsinghua University, he was awarded the Tsinghua University Graduate “Qihang” Gold Prize and recognized as an Outstanding Graduate of Beijing. In 2018, he founded Beijing Weihang Technology Co., Ltd. and was named a winner on the Zhongguancun U30 list for 2021, the Hurun U30 China Entrepreneurial Pioneers list for 2022, and the Hurun U35 China Entrepreneurial Pioneers list for 2024. He also received the “Fire Phoenix” Award for Outstanding Young Industry Expert at the inaugural International Conference on Frontiers in Fire Science and Technology in 2025. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Low-Altitude Economy Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce.
Zhang Lei
Founder and CTO
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Vehicle Engineering and a doctoral degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, both from the Department of Automotive Engineering at Tsinghua University. He has published nearly ten SCI/EI‑indexed papers, including one ESI Highly Cited Paper with over 100 citations, and authored China’s first comprehensive review on flying cars. During his postdoctoral research at the School of Aerospace Engineering at Tsinghua University, he conducted studies on the flow mechanisms and control of electric ducted fans for flying cars, establishing a design framework for high‑load electric ducted‑fan propulsion systems.
Tao Chao
Chief Engineer
PhD in Fluid Mechanics from Fudan University and a senior-level engineer. With more than a decade of hands-on experience spanning the entire lifecycle of large civil aircraft, he previously served as Assistant Chief Designer for the C919 wide-body airliner. He is a versatile industry leader within the COMAC ecosystem, combining deep theoretical expertise with extensive experience in major engineering management. He has been honored with the “Top Ten Young Talents of COMAC” award and has repeatedly received the Shanghai Aeronautical Society’s Science and Technology Award, consistently driving the high-quality development of domestically produced aerospace equipment through technological innovation.
Jia Lili
CFO
Master’s degree from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University. Previously worked at Tsinghua Unigroup, a publicly listed securities firm specializing in venture capital, and several high-tech startups, accumulating extensive experience in capital markets. Past investment and M&A projects include Yangtze Memory Technologies, UNISOC, and H3C; led numerous large-scale financing rounds; and oversaw the ChiNext IPO of a high-tech startup, guiding it through multiple rounds of regulatory inquiries.
