Nature of the job:
Full-time
Age requirement:
25–40 years old
Experience requirements:
More than 3 years
Work Location:
Jiangsu Province – Nanjing City
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the development and iterative enhancement of core functions in the fire‑fighting drone flight control system; assists in implementing and optimizing the flight control technical architecture; independently implements key flight algorithms such as attitude control, path planning, point‑to‑point hovering, and emergency obstacle avoidance; continuously refines flight control accuracy, stability, and response speed to ensure compatibility with a wide range of complex firefighting scenarios.
2. Participate in the full lifecycle development of flight control software, collaborating with the team to decompose requirements, design technical solutions, write code, conduct unit testing, perform system-level integration testing, and manage version iterations. Rigorously track project milestones to ensure high-quality delivery and timely deployment of the flight control software.
3. Adhering to the team’s technical standards and development guidelines, responsible for modular development of flight control software, code optimization and iterative reuse; identifying and addressing issues throughout the development process to enhance code stability, maintainability, and overall team productivity.
4. Gain an in-depth understanding of the core application scenarios for firefighting drones, including high-rise building fire suppression, forest fire reconnaissance, search-and-rescue operations at fire scenes, and precision‑delivery fire‑extinguishing missions. Develop scenario‑specific technical solutions to address specialized flight‑control challenges such as strong wind disturbances, high‑temperature environments, severe electromagnetic interference, and operations in complex, confined spaces.
5. Collaborate with the hardware, testing, marketing, and product teams to deliver joint development efforts; responsible for the adaptation, integration, and joint debugging of the flight control system with the drone airframe, power system, and firefighting payloads (including fire‑extinguishing bombs, thermal imaging cameras, search-and-rescue equipment, sprinkler modules, etc.); troubleshoot flight anomalies, and optimize overall aircraft performance.
6. Track cutting-edge technologies in drone flight control, participate in the pre-research and implementation of AI‑based autonomous flight, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and multi‑drone collaborative flight, and assist in technical knowledge accumulation, documentation preparation, and patent‑related material organization, thereby enhancing the product’s core competitiveness.
7. Responsible for flight test commissioning, post‑mortem analysis of issues, and iterative optimization; conducts on‑site follow‑up of fire‑fighting scenario test flights; identifies and resolves various flight control problems such as loss of control, attitude drift, and path deviation; and produces test reports and optimization proposals.
Job Requirements:
1. Education and Major: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Control Engineering, Aerospace, Electronic Information, Computer Science, or a related field. Both recent graduates and candidates with 1–3 years of experience in flight control development are welcome.
2. Technical Skills: Familiar with UAV flight control principles and attitude control algorithms, proficient in core technologies such as PID control, filtering, attitude estimation, trajectory planning, and obstacle avoidance; skilled in C/C++ embedded development and well-versed in real-time operating systems like RTOS and FreeRTOS.
3. Job Skills: Familiarity with the drone flight‑control development workflow; candidates with a solid understanding of open‑source flight‑control architectures (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot) are preferred. Experience in system‑level integration and field testing/flight‑testing is required, along with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve both software and hardware issues in flight‑control systems.
4. Scene Awareness: Candidates with experience in developing specialized and industry-specific drones (e.g., for firefighting, inspection, and security) are preferred; familiarity with flight‑control optimization strategies in complex environments is required.
5. Overall Competence: Clear logical thinking, adherence to coding standards, strong troubleshooting skills and execution capability; adept at cross-team communication and collaboration, able to adapt to on-site flight testing during phased deployments, and possesses excellent stress tolerance.
